It’s Different To Be Normal \u2013 Individuality At The Center<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Whether ill, disabled, burdened, healthy, happy, different or normal: we are all unique \u2014 facets of a vibrant, colorful fabric called human diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n

With our guiding principle, “It’s different to be normal,” we have focused on difference through individuality since 1984.<\/p>\r\n read more<\/a>\r\n

For a long time, Spielzeit’s motto \u2014 “It’s normal to be different” \u2014 took center stage: a call to view difference from the perspective of the so-called norm, and to question that norm.<\/p>\n

After 40 years, we shifted this perspective in 2024. Because being “different” is the shared reality of being unique in the world. This shift is meant to express the simple truth that, as individuals, we are all “different.” <\/p>\n

Unity In Diversity<\/strong><\/h4>\n

At the heart of our work is the uniqueness of every individual. In a world full of individuality, “being normal” and “being different” are simply different facets of diversity. <\/p>\n

It is precisely as a society of unique, diverse individuals that we experience our deep sense of unity \u2014 through acceptance, mutual understanding and empathy.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Continuing Education<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Using specialized psychological approaches, we have been dedicated for over 40 years to supporting people of all ages with disabilities, neurodiversity, and illness, as well as their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We support professionals in schools, socio-educational or medical institutions and other specialist departments with advice and presentations on psychological issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
